Things that I collect

Things that I collect:

1. Forever Friend stuffs for sure – It all started since I owned a 3 ft tall FF toys in year 2000. Basically I collect all its stuffs, eg: soft toys, stationery, calendars, photo frames, ceramics, mugs etc. But now I tend to collect more practical stuffs which are not bulky & are usable.

2. Coca-Cola – Most of my collections are cans from different countries with different languages or limited editions. And most of these cans are empty cans. I usually consume them before I carry them back : ) Less interested on bottles which are quite heavy to carry.

3. Starbucks tumblers – Start collection since I bought two from Taiwan as a remembrance of my 2 years stay in Taiwan. One of this comes with bottom which you can open and change its design paper. So far I have only 4 tumblers, 2 from Taiwan, 1 from Shanghai & 1 from Kyoto. Prefer tumblers than mugs. Prefer seasonal designs or limited version from different cities. But Starbucks collections are so costly! You get the same tumbler with different designs (the difference is just the patterns on the paper) for every RM40 spend.

4. Postcards – I started to collect postcards since my 1st Europe trip in 1999. I believe I have collected hundreds of copies so far. Reason for me to collect postcards: 1) can’t take such a nice photo myself; 2) haven’t got chance to visit that place; 3) to collect stamps, thus a postcard is needed for the usage of stamps.
I usually keep the postcards in photo album together with the other photos I took for remembrance.

5. Stamps – Hate Malaysia for its lousy stamps (still using stamps with kelapa sawit & padi for these 10 years! And it is a country totally not friendly to a stamp collector. They hardly publish new stamps. And if they do, you can hardly get the new stamps from the post offices. Can still remember those days when I shop in post offices in Australia for its newly published nice stamps.

6. Books from my favorite authors.

7. Newspaper cutting.

8. All other cute & special stuffs!

life without any target

I hate my life now as I do not have any target for my life at this stage. I do not really know what to do, what kind of life to live or what jobs to have. I don't even have any passion to travel (except Agean Sea), probably because I no longer afford to have any travel plan in the near future.

Talking about my job. I do not even know whether I'll be continuing working after giving birth. Most likely I will as I am not the type of person who can sit still in the house. But of course the situation might change totally when I have a bb. Who knows I may become a super mother? :) And if I do work, I do not know whether to work in commercial line and get a "higher" ( still consider very low as compared to other friends) pay, or to work in this right brain education centre with lower pay but more relax working environment & better exposure on children education.

I still dream of working & staying overseas. En Gin has never really banned this dream of mine, provided I have given birth to 4 kids! Well, who is going to employ me when I am at least 35 years old with 4 kids?!

I miss those days when I knew so well what to do on certain period, eg: to go for working holidays in UK after graduation from uni, to go to New Zealand before getting 30 years old etc.
